Building owners in Community Districts 2, 5, 7, 13 and 18 in all boroughs, now have until June 30, 2022, to complete their mandatory Local Law 152 of 2016 gas plumbing inspections, which must be conducted at least once every four years.
One- and two-family homes are exempt from Local Law 152.
Failure to file the Gas Piping System Periodic Inspection Certification on or before the filing due date will result in a civil penalty of $5,000.
