New York City’s 8th Annual Architecture and Design Month has begun! Dubbed Archtober, the month-long festival features architectural activities, exhibitions and events organized by the Center for Architecture and 60+ partners and sponsors. This year’s events include daily building tours, lectures by design experts, conferences, film screenings, studio visits, competitions, and architecture-themed gatherings. Archtober, which raises awareness of the impact architecture and design has on the City, takes place during the entire month of October.
